RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — The Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) Men’s Basketball team unveiled its full 2024-25 non-conference schedule on Monday, featuring a challenging slate of opponents. The Rams are set to face up to five NCAA Tournament teams and two recent Final Four participants, showcasing a competitive lineup.

The schedule includes 13 non-conference games, with nine opponents having finished last season in the top 125 of the NCAA NET rankings. The season will commence on Monday, Nov. 4, when VCU hosts Bellarmine at the Stuart C. Siegal Center, marking the start of their 57th season.

The Rams’ home non-conference games will include matchups against Bellarmine, Merrimack, Loyola, Elizabeth City State, Georgia Southern, Penn, and William and Mary. In addition, VCU will compete in six away or neutral site games, facing Boston College, Colorado State, and New Mexico, along with participating in the Charleston Classic.

This robust schedule is designed to prepare the Rams for a challenging Atlantic 10 Conference season and to elevate their performance on the national stage.
