The Miami Dolphins and cornerback Jalen Ramsey are reportedly exploring trade opportunities, aiming to strike a deal before this year’s NFL Draft. Initially, Miami seemed focused on reinforcing their secondary through the draft, possibly targeting a cornerback in the early rounds. However, trading Ramsey could leave them with significant gaps in their defensive backfield.
The team is open to parting with their top cornerback, but any potential deal would likely require the Dolphins to cover a significant portion of Ramsey’s current contract. While compensation details remain uncertain, several teams could be interested, especially if acquiring Ramsey allows them to address other needs during the draft.

Arizona Cardinals:
The Cardinals are in dire need of a starting cornerback, one of the few major holes on their roster. Although Arizona has only six picks in this year’s draft, limiting their immediate trade flexibility, they could potentially offer a higher selection in the 2026 draft. With 10 picks currently slated for next year, this could be a viable option for both sides.
Green Bay Packers:
There are rumors that the Packers are looking to move on from Jaire Alexander. If so, trading for Ramsey could represent a swap of unfavorable contracts while helping both teams reset their secondaries. Given the financial aspects of both players’ deals, such a trade might not involve many draft picks, making it a more strategic exchange than a traditional draft-day deal.
Las Vegas Raiders:
With a new head coach, quarterback, and Tom Brady now a minority owner, the Raiders are undergoing major changes. Cornerback remains a pressing need, and acquiring Ramsey would immediately strengthen their defense. Las Vegas holds nine draft picks this year, including two compensatory sixth-rounders. While a sixth-round pick may be insufficient for a player of Ramsey’s caliber, the Raiders could be willing to offer a fourth or fifth-rounder, which might be enough to get a deal done.
