Leicester City manager answers to Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall on Arsenal transfer speculation as interest intensifies.
Arsenal have only three days left to do business in the January window, and names such as Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall remain highly associated with a move to the Emirates Stadium.
Arsenal have only a few days remaining in the January transfer window. The Gunners have failed to make any new signings, with Mikel Arteta claiming that budgets are limited after spending just over £200 million in the summer on Declan Rice, Jurrien Timber, and Kai Havertz.

However, the Seagulls are some way from City’s valuation, which is said to stand at £30million. When quizzed about a potential departure after Dewsbury-Hall was left out of the squad, Maresca said: “No. The reason why he was not in the squad was because we gave him, Harry Winks, and Jannik a rest for Tuesday’s game.
“This is a question for the club, not me. We have discussed the transfer window, but it is not a concern for me.
“In the end, we need some balance. We will see. Anyway, I won’t say anything because Kiernan is our player. In the instant when something happens, I shall give my thoughts about it.”
Regarding his future, the midfielder recently stated: “There’s only one goal for us this season. I don’t simply want to survive; I want to be the best player in the Championship. I want to be the main man, striving to help the squad every week and make a name for myself as the lad who can help us do great things this season.”
Leicester are already lost two midfielders, with Wilfred Ndidi potentially out until April and Casare Casadei recalled by Chelsea. Although Maresca wants to strengthen his midfield, sales must be completed before anyone can be brought in.
Dewsburry-Hall has contributed nine goals and as many assists in 31 games, helping the Foxes climb the Championship standings. While Brentford has also been linked with a move for the 25-year-old, they are close to signing Club Brugge’s Antonio Nusa for €30 million (£25 million), and it is unclear whether this will dampen their interest in the Leicester star.
