Oklahoma has bolstered its 2025 recruiting class with the addition of four-star safety Omarion Robinson.

Oklahoma Receives Commitment from 4-star DB Omarion Robinson

Standing at 6-foot and 171 pounds, Robinson hails from Little Rock and is ranked as the No. 26 safety in his class and the No. 2 player in Arkansas. He chose Oklahoma over offers from Arkansas, Oregon, and LSU, marking the Sooners’ 21st commitment and the ninth defensive player in their 2025 class.

Oklahoma’s coaching staff, led by head coach Brent Venables and defensive backs coach Brandon Hall, had identified Robinson as a primary defensive target early on, extending an offer in January 2023. Robinson joins an impressive group of safeties in OU’s 2025 class, including four-star prospects Marcus Wimberly and Trynae Washington, and three-star safety Courtland Guillory. The class also features cornerbacks Trystan Haines, a four-star recruit, and Maliek Hawkins, a three-star prospect and brother of OU freshman quarterback Michael Hawkins.

Robinson is known for his versatility, footwork, and physicality, key traits for a safety. His standout performances, including being named the defensive back MVP at the Rivals camp for five-star recruits and earning MaxPreps Freshman All-America second-team honors, highlight his potential to make a significant impact at Oklahoma.
