During his official visit to Louisville over the June 7 weekend, Gradey Anthony, committed offensive lineman from North Oldham, had an exceptional experience with the Cardinals. Having pledged to Louisville earlier in January, Anthony, a Louisville native, relished the opportunity to delve deeper into his future college’s offerings. His familiarity with the city notwithstanding, spending quality time with coaches, teammates, and fellow recruits stood out as a highlight of his recruitment journey.
Anthony enthusiastically described his visit: “The official visit went great. Being a Louisville native my whole life, I’ve definitely made my way around the city before, but spending time with coaches and players was definitely a highlight of my recruitment with UofL.” He was particularly impressed by the team’s hospitality, which made him feel at home while exploring the facilities. Anthony’s extensive prior visits to the campus even allowed him to surprise his family with his detailed knowledge of the surroundings.
Beyond the football aspects, official visits also afforded Anthony a taste of Louisville’s vibrant city life, adding to his overall positive impression of his future school.
