Jayden Daniels looks forward to facing his former coach, Raiders HC Antonio Pierce | All Facts No Brakes
If you haven’t had the chance to check it out yet: future UNC basketball player Ian Jackson hosts his own podcast.
Titled “The Captain Jack Podcast,” the future Tar Heel engages in conversations with notable guests on a wide range of topics.
In episode No. 11, released on Tuesday night, Jackson was joined by UNC basketball legend Armando Bacot for an unmissable interview.
Jackson and his co-host, Pat Wavyy, covered a plethora of subjects with Bacot in just an hour, including NBA discussions and favorite rapper debates. Naturally, they delved deeply into Bacot’s experiences in Chapel Hill, with Bacot sharing valuable advice for Jackson as he begins his UNC basketball career this year.
While we won’t spoil the entire interview, here are some of our favorite highlights:
– Bacot was asked to name his top five UNC basketball teammates, and his selections might surprise you.
– Jackson inquired about the transition from Roy Williams to Hubert Davis as the UNC head coach. Bacot explained that the change wasn’t as drastic as many think, with Davis introducing some of his own concepts.
– Bacot shared the “worst decision he’s ever made,” which involves plenty of Carolina Blue.
– They also discussed the “GOAT” debate, with Bacot favoring LeBron James over Michael Jordan. Bacot recounted how the team was initially intimidated when meeting Jordan.
Overall, it’s a fantastic listen. Bacot’s reflections on his time in Chapel Hill, combined with Jackson and Pat Wavyy’s commentary and playful banter, make it a must-listen for all UNC basketball fans.
