Dallas assistant Al Harris has huge ideas for the future, according to Cowboys news.

Al Harris is not one of the players or coaches that left the Dallas Cowboys for the Washington Commanders during the summer, mostly because of Dan Quinn, the former defensive coordinator of the former team who is now the team’s head coach.

Quinn made an attempt to get Harris as well, but the Cowboys rejected his request for an interview—a move permitted by the league provided the position for which the candidate is being interviewed is not a promotion.

Following that, Harris was elevated by head coach Mike McCarthy to the position of associate head coach in Dallas.

“It involves increased accountability,” Harris stated before to OTAs. “I continue to carry out my daily activities as I have since coming here. It’s merely an occasional increase in responsibilities.

It’s a major testament to how excellent Harris has been since joining the Cowboys in 2020. Harris was a crucial addition that aided in Trevon Diggs and DaRon Bland’s rapid rise to prominence as record-breaking cornerbacks.
