Recently, Tom Brady has been in the news a lot. His impending attempt to get a stake in the Las Vegas Raiders is among the most forgotten tales surrounding the great quarterback. Later this week, there may be a significant update on the possible deal.
At their meeting this week in Nashville, NFL owners are not expected to vote on Brady’s proposed acquisition of a stake of the Las Vegas Raiders, according to Mark Maske of the Washington Post.

The transaction has been pending for several months before the NFL finance committee.

Brady and the Raiders may have to wait a bit longer if there isn’t a vote this week. October is the next planned meeting at which a vote may be held.

Brady’s impending employment with FOX as the network’s chief commentator is one issue surrounding this possible transaction (more on that in a minute). There can be a conflict of interest if you are a commentator for FOX and a part-owner of an NFL franchise. Brady would have access to confidential information about the Raiders’ rivals and opponents in addition to his fiduciary duty to them.

Since Brady is “not an owner of the Raiders,” the league stated last week that there are no restrictions on the games he can work on while at FOX. This comment suggests that if Brady’s acquisition of a Raiders share becomes official, a few things would change at FOX.

Brady becomes the head analyst for the 2024 NFL season at FOX.
For the 2024 NFL season, Brady will take Greg Olsen’s position as FOX’s chief analyst.

In 2022, Tom Brady signed a huge $375 million, ten-year contract, and will now officially start working with the network. Kevin Burkhardt, the lead play-by-play announcer for FOX, will collaborate with him.

The first game that Brady and Burkhardt will play together is the Dallas Cowboys vs. Cleveland Browns game in Week 1.
“I think a lot of people will really like my pretty unique perspective, which I think I can provide.” It will require a great deal of effort. It will be a great deal of fun, Brady said to Front Office Sports. It’s always important to push yourself to advance in new capacities. And this is undoubtedly one method I’m using.
