The 6-foot-8 forward from Erlanger, Kentucky, is a consensus top-150 recruit in the 2025 class, a four-star recruit according to 247Sports Composite Rankings, and he has received 27 scholarship offers.
Walker visited Wisconsin for the third time in April, when he was officially welcomed on campus. Walker had previously told BadgerNotes that the faculty and staff “make it feel like home, and it’s a family atmosphere.”

Walker has been targeted by Greg Gard and his team for over a year. On May 2, 2023, the standout from Lloyd Memorial High School received an official offer from them. If he accepted, he would join three-star Zach Kinzinger in the Badger class of 2025.
About Walker’s game, Dillon Graff of BadgerNotes said the following:

Walker’s distinct combination of size, agility, and ball abilities renders him a highly adaptable chess piece. He is able to put the ball on the deck, face up occasionally, win down on the low block with footwork, and push the ball in transition.”
Walker would be an important part of the Badgers’ future in the frontcourt, while Steven Crowl and Carter Gilmore are scheduled to graduate following the 2024–25 season.

Wisconsin will not be able to lock him into the program’s long-term plans until Friday night.
