Declan Rice now sends a one-word message to the £80 million player Arsenal wants to sign this month.
Following yesterday’s match, Arsenal midfielder Declan Rice has sent a message to a player the club is apparently interested in signing.
Rice delivered Arsenal’s first assist in their 5-0 victory over Crystal Palace yesterday, whipping in a corner for Gabriel Magalhaes to head home.
And, as always, the midfielder performed admirably in the middle, demonstrating why he is one of Mikel Arteta’s most trusted players.
Despite being tried at number eight earlier in the season, Rice appears to be most effective when playing in the pivot position.
Of course, he could be much more effective if he had a prolific goal scorer in front of him.
While Arteta’s side had little trouble scoring goals yesterday, they will face more difficult tests in the coming weeks and months.
Ivan Toney is thought to be Arsenal’s top target, whether this month or in the summer.
After his goal-scoring return to the pitch for Brentford yesterday, Arsenal’s Rice went on to deliver a message to Toney.
Declan Rice sent a message of encouragement to Arsenal target Ivan Toney after his comeback.
Toney recently wrote a heartfelt statement on Instagram while posting a compilation of images from his team’s triumph over Nottingham Forest.
The striker stated, “I’ve been envisioning this moment for a long time.
It’s been difficult to be out for so long, but getting back on the pitch yesterday, scoring, and winning was well worth the wait.
“I’d also like to thank the fans who have stuck with me throughout!
“Losing my uncle during this period has also been difficult, but I’d like to dedicate my objective to him, and I hope he is proud. Let us continue working and growing together.”
Of course, England teammate Declan Rice was ready to offer his support.
Rice just said “Yesssir” to Toney, a player he would love to play alongside at Arsenal.
In addition, David Raya sent a message of encouragement to his old comrade after his homecoming.
If Toney makes a move to Arsenal, he will undoubtedly have two friends there.
Although a transfer is improbable this month, it wouldn’t be surprising if Arsenal pursued the £80 million player in the summer.
