Nebraska Basketball Wins 79-59 Against Michigan.

Despite a great season, this missed opportunity will haunt Michigan football for a long time

Nebraska men’s basketball secured a decisive victory on Saturday at Pinnacle Bank Arena, dominating Michigan with a final score of 79-59. This win, achieved by the Huskers with a record of 17-8 overall and 7-7 in the Big Ten, puts an end to an eight-game losing streak against the Wolverines.

The game saw a strong start for Nebraska, initiating a 13-0 run approximately five minutes into the match. At its peak, the lead extended to 30 points before the Huskers settled to secure a substantial conference win.

Nebraska exhibited an overall shooting accuracy of 46.9%, connecting on 9-of-23 attempts from beyond the arc. The team also converted 10-of-16 free throws. In contrast, Michigan struggled with a 32.3% shooting percentage, making 8-of-24 three-pointers and 11-of-15 free throws.

Four players from Nebraska contributed double-digit points, with Keisei Tominaga leading the way with 19 points. Josiah Allick also made a significant impact, contributing 16 points along with a team-high eight rebounds.
