The game saw a strong start for Nebraska, initiating a 13-0 run approximately five minutes into the match. At its peak, the lead extended to 30 points before the Huskers settled to secure a substantial conference win.
Nebraska exhibited an overall shooting accuracy of 46.9%, connecting on 9-of-23 attempts from beyond the arc. The team also converted 10-of-16 free throws. In contrast, Michigan struggled with a 32.3% shooting percentage, making 8-of-24 three-pointers and 11-of-15 free throws.
