After their goalless draw at Rodney Parade, the Exiles extended their winning streak to six games, despite the visitors being reduced to 10 men after Jack Shepherd was sent off in the 17th minute.
“It was frustrating, but it was a really good point,” Jardim remarked.
“At first, we were the superior team and gave ‘CBR’ goal-scoring opportunities in addition to hitting the post, but we faced a strong defense.
Bradford made it extremely difficult for us and gave up relatively few goals. We tried everything, including switching players and changing the shape, but they were a threat on the counter and had excellent defense.
They are quite dangerous with that, so we always had to strike a balance between attacking and avoiding being caught in the counterattack.
Overall, it seemed like we had a better chance of winning, but we have to give Bradford credit for making things really tough for us. As a result, it was a nice point, and the players deserve recognition for their diligence.
“We kept looking for the goal that would win us the game, but we were unable to locate it, so we continued our successful run.
“We must concentrate on maintaining our six-game winning streak and keeping another clean sheet. We only hope that we can defeat Cheltenham the following weekend, but it’s another step in the right direction.
