The Lions won’t be selling the farm this offseason.

After the postseason, the offseason is brutal. All of a sudden, no football. All of a sudden, off-season. After successfully adding key players to their roster throughout the offseason, general manager Brad Holmes of the Detroit Lions has now unveiled the team’s future strategy and made a promotional announcement.

We’re getting ready for the offseason on this Pride of Detroit PODcast episode. We talk about Terrell Williams, the new rushing game coordinator and DL coach hired by the Lions, the ongoing verbal spat between Ben Johnson’s team and the Washington Commanders, and the coordinators staying together. The main takeaway from Brad Holmes’ meeting with the media was that the Lions know what they’re doing, even when they don’t make a move, which is a strong indication they won’t gamble the farm. He also took jabs at a few members of the media and delivered some sharp warnings about what’s to come for the future. We dissect everything from there and discuss what will actually be true in March against what is likely just filler.

The PODcast’s season never ends, so be sure to subscribe so we can continue to provide you with the same fantastic audio content in the offseason, during the season, and truly at any time of year. It is never off.
