After just a few days of meetings and interviews, McVay elevated Chris Shula from pass rush coordinator and linebackers coach to defensive coordinator.
Shula began his tenure with the Rams in 2017 as the team’s assistant linebackers coach and worked his way up the ranks. He will have huge shoes to fill in Los Angeles as this will be his first chance to oversee a defense in the National Football League.
