Woodman made it apparent post-match on Saturday that he does not wish for his side’s season to finish at Hayes Lane against Cheltenham at the beginning of May:

“What is the point of me standing here saying we are just happy to be here? No, we have got to try and make the play-offs.”

We are not starting from a level playing field with all the other clubs and the riches they have got, but we have got a good, honest bunch of players,” added the Bromley boss.

In order to achieve his target, Woodman will require his defence to be at their very best for the remainder of the league campaign- of whom he was particularly complimentary of after they kept a third clean sheet in as many games:

“I thought Deji [Elerewe] and Byron Webster were brilliant.

Carl Jenkinson showed his quality- he hit a couple of passes that were unbelievable.”

Next up for Bromley is Bradford City at Hayes Lane on Tuesday night- where they will be looking to form a gap with their surrounding play-off contenders and extend their unbeaten run to five matches.
