Notre Dame Football QB Commit Recognized as Florida’s Top High School Player

Notre Dame quarterback commit Noah Grubbs has been honored as the top high school football player in Central Florida by the Orlando Sentinel. This recognition comes as Grubbs is set to embark on a potentially record-breaking final high school season.

Grubbs, who showcased his latest accolade on social media, is expected to have his best season yet before heading to South Bend to join the Fighting Irish. The Orlando Sentinel named him the top player in the 2026 Super60, highlighting his impressive stats and potential.

In his sophomore season alone, Grubbs passed for 3,670 yards, threw 49 touchdowns, and had just 10 interceptions. These numbers underscore why he is poised to break multiple records at Lake Mary High School.

Despite some concerns when fellow quarterback target Brady Hart committed to Michigan, Grubbs remains Notre Dame’s top recruit. The Orlando Sentinel’s ranking confirms Grubbs’ superior talent, making him a valuable addition to the Fighting Irish.
