Jade Avedisian Reflects on New Life as Champion, Progress Made Outside Dirt Midget Racing
CONCORD, NC (June 20, 2024) – Jade Avedisian, a 17-year-old Toyota Racing prospect from Clovis, CA, is experiencing the perks of being the Xtreme Outlaw Midget Series champion. Since winning her first national Midget series championship eight months ago, Avedisian’s life has transformed significantly. From corporate sponsor signings and special event appearances to starring in television commercials, her new status has brought unprecedented attention and opportunities.
“It’s definitely changed a huge amount, even from the last three years,” Avedisian said. She acknowledges the support of a great team and people around her, crediting them for her success and growth. Avedisian is set to return to Series competition on July 26-27 at Arrowhead Speedway and Tulsa Speedway in Oklahoma, where she clinched her championship. Her achievements have caught the attention of high-profile media personalities and racing veterans like Jeff Gluck, Bob Pockrass, Christopher Bell, and Kyle Larson.
“She was just super, super fast, and really maximized the equipment,” Bell said in a December 2023 interview. Avedisian’s ability to consistently perform and get the best lap times out of her car has been a key ingredient in her rapid rise in the motorsports industry.
