Despite being plagued by injuries this season, the Braves have received positive updates on some key players, including Michael Harris II.

A.J. Minter has returned to Atlanta after a stint on the injured list, Ian Anderson is making progress in the minors, and Tyler Matzek is showing improvement. However, Michael Harris remains the most crucial player at the moment. The 2022 Rookie of the Year recently resumed baseball activities following a hamstring strain from a few weeks ago and was seen throwing on the field before Tuesday’s game against the Giants.

Grant McAuley mentioned that while there’s no set timetable for Harris’s return, he might start running soon.

Harris has been out since June 15th, and the Braves’ offense is missing his presence. Given the nature of hamstring injuries, the team is likely to be cautious. Typically, recovery takes 6-8 weeks, so Harris is still a few weeks away from potentially returning to centerfield at Truist Park.
