ESPN has revealed the nominees for the 2024 ESPYS, sponsored by Capital One. The list features outstanding athletes across various sports, including basketball, football, baseball, golf, NASCAR, gymnastics, and UFC.

Hosted by Serena Williams, the prestigious event will celebrate the year’s top athletes and performances. Nominees include fan favorites like Patrick Mahomes, Caitlin Clark, A’ja Wilson, Juju Watkins, and Simone Biles.

Caitlin Clark leads the nominations, competing for Best Athlete Women’s Sports, Best College Athlete Women’s Sports, and Best Record-Breaking Performance. A’ja Wilson is also nominated for Best Athlete Women’s Sports and Best WNBA Player, with her team, the Las Vegas Aces, in the running for Best Team.

Patrick Mahomes is a leading nominee for Best Athlete Men’s Sports and Best NFL Player, with his Kansas City Chiefs also nominated. Shohei Ohtani is competing in the same categories, minus Best MLB Player. If either wins, they will join LeBron James, Lance Armstrong, and Tiger Woods as multiple-time winners.

Other notable nominees include gymnast Simone Biles, NBA player Jaylen Brown, tennis player Coco Gauff, and WNBA player Juju Watkins.
