Imagine this: in just 10 weeks, you’ll be gearing up to watch Penn State face off against their old rivals, the West Virginia Mountaineers. Yes, we are merely 10 weeks away from the start of another exciting season of Penn State Football.
This fall, true freshman Garrett Sexton will be donning the new #70 jersey for Penn State. As a four-star recruit, Sexton was ranked as the top player from Wisconsin in the incoming class by On3, and the 64th overall prospect across all positions. Standing at 6-6 and weighing 289 lbs., he’s close to achieving his “Big Ten body,” though this year will likely serve as a period for him to adjust to the higher level of competition.
Sexton’s high school coach, Mark Harris, expressed high hopes for his future:
“Garrett is an athletic unicorn. He combines his incredible length and size with great athleticism. Garrett has a Division I work ethic! Penn State has a diamond being polished and in a few years he will be blinging!”
