Tennessee Titans coach Mike Vrabel walks out of Friday's press conference

After four seasons with the Kansas City Chiefs, cornerback L’Jarius Sneed will be joining the Tennessee Titans for the upcoming season. Despite the move, his former teammate, safety Justin Reid, referred to Sneed as a bully during their time together.

Drafted in the fourth round of the 2020 NFL Draft by the Chiefs, Sneed quickly transitioned to cornerback and made an immediate impact, recording an interception in his debut against the Houston Texans.

Although a collarbone injury interrupted his rookie season, Sneed returned for the playoffs, contributing significantly with a sack against the Cleveland Browns and Buffalo Bills. In 2022, Sneed was instrumental in the Chiefs’ Super Bowl LVII victory over the Philadelphia Eagles, recording seven tackles and two pass breakups.

Sneed’s strong performance continued into 2023, including a pivotal forced fumble in the AFC Championship game against the Baltimore Ravens, which helped propel the Chiefs to Super Bowl LVIII, where they secured another championship by defeating the San Francisco 49ers.

Despite his success, the Chiefs traded Sneed to the Titans in March 2024 in exchange for a 2025 third-round pick and a seventh-round swap. Sneed then signed a four-year, $76.4 million contract with Tennessee, solidifying his reputation as one of the league’s top young cornerbacks.
