The show took place on the first day of CMA Fest 2024 in Nashville, Tennessee, which is open to both musicians and fans of country music from June 6–8.

Stefani documented the evening on her Instagram stories, posting videos of her and her spouse making their way from Nissan Stadium to Spotify House for an additional surprise performance.

Stefani observed from the wings as Shelton and Malone performed their song together at Spotify House.

The song, which they started teasing at the end of May, is officially released today, and it’s their first live performance of the song together. Post Malone posted a video of himself jamming out to the tune along with a sneak peek of the full song at the time on Instagram. Malone and Shelton were singing along, “Somebody pour me a drink, somebody bum me a smoke.”

” @blakeshelton,” he wrote as the caption for the photo, mentioning how the lines “someone pour me a drink” went especially well with the clinking beers.

Shelton answered, “,” and Stefani said, “This much cute and awesome is too much! Extremely enthusiastic notice!”

After appearing on consecutive tracks with Beyoncé and Taylor Swift for their respective new albums, Cowboy Carter and The Tortured Poets Department, Post Malone—who is currently in his collaborative phase—has had a tremendous year. Post Malone performs on “LEVII’S JEANS” with Queen Bey and contributes vocals to “Fortnight” with Swift.

With the later track, Post thanked Swift for the opportunity and gushed about working with the Evermore crooner.

Someone like @taylorswift13 only comes around once in a lifetime. Your heart and intelligence amaze me, and I feel incredibly privileged to have been selected to support you on your path. I adore you so much. I’m grateful, Tay ,” he stated in an April X post.

The actors, Josh Charles and Ethan Hawke from Dead Poets Society, appear opposite them in the music video, which was also promptly published by the couple.

Post Malone and Reba McEntire recently wow audiences with an unexpected duet at the 2024 ACM Awards. Reminiscent of his performance with Shelton, the duet took the audience by surprise as they joined forces to honor the late Dickey Betts with an acoustic rendition of “Ramblin’ Man.”
