Sutton started 15 of the 16 games he participated in in 2022 and finished with 43 tackles, 35 of which were solo stops, 15 passes defensed, and one tackle for a loss. He also recorded three interceptions, which was a career-high.

Sutton began 16 games and finished 2021 with 52 tackles, 44 of which were from single stops, eight passes defensed, two interceptions, four tackles for a loss, and a forced fumble. In 2020, Sutton participated in 16 games, starting six of them.

In tandem, the group cut loose wide receiver Izaiah Gathings.
