BREAKING NEWS: Dallas Mavericks star player Grant Williams JUST ANNOUNCED HE HAS A MESSAGE FOR HIS FANS AND TEAMMATES…

What's happened to Grant Williams? He won't discuss aches, says shooting will return

In response to those making fun of him over the Celtics-Mavericks Finals, Grant Williams said
Contrary to popular belief, Grant Williams is not as sour about this year’s NBA Finals matchup.

The Boston Celtics vs. Dallas Mavericks Finals has generated a ton of memes and online roasts for Charlotte Hornets forward Williams in the last few days. Over the course of the previous season, Williams was traded by both teams, where he previously belonged. He was traded to the Mavericks in the offseason from the Celtics, where he began his NBA career. Then, as part of the PJ Washington trade, Williams was sent by the Mavericks to the lowly Hornets at the trade deadline in February.

Williams replied on Friday to an Overtime Instagram post about him that said, “He woke up sad as hell today.”
Felt fortunate when I woke up,” Williams answered. It was an honor to learn from the wonderful folks on both teams.

Williams responded in a polite way, but the fact that both clubs are succeeding now that he is gone may sting a little. Additionally, there were allegations that Williams wasn’t too popular at one of those appearances.

Positively, Williams was able to participate in the Celtics’ 2022 Finals run. Though he will be eligible to receive a ring from the Mavericks as a member of Dallas’ roster at some point this season, he might be cheering for them to win it all this time.
