Mempho Festival 2024 Announces Schedule
Trey Anastasio & Classic TAB, Queens of the Stone Age, and Cody Jinks are the headliners.

The musicians who will be included at this year’s Mempho Music Festival—which is set for October 4-6—have been revealed, and it is evident why Billboard Magazine dubbed it “one of the premiere southeast music festivals for Americana, rock, and blues music.” Furthermore, Mempho is undoubtedly introducing the Mid South to major rock talent, especially with Queens of the Stone Age headlining the bill.

With Trey Anastasio headlining, Mempho’s dedication to the jam band sound—which has been proven by its history of bringing Widespread Panic to Memphis—continues unabatedly. The jam band icon, who serves as lead guitarist and songwriter for Phish, will be carrying on with the strategy he began this month by embarking on a tour with his “classic” Trey Anastasio Band (TAB), which is made up of bassist Dezron Douglas, longtime keyboardist Ray Paczkowski, and founding TAB drummer Russ Lawton.

Lastly, Cody Jinks, a former Texas thrash rocker who has been making waves on the country charts for almost ten years, will be a strong representation of the outlaw county element.

The next level of talent scheduled to come this year shows that Mempho’s eclecticism extends well beyond those disciplines. The Roots and Digable Planets’ appearances at Mempho Fest this autumn are equally noteworthy, if landing the Fugees for Mempho Presents’ recent RiverBeat Music Festival was any indication. The list also included Goose, Sublime with Rome, Marcus King, Charles Wesley Godwin, Drew Holcomb and The Neighbors, Cory Wong, Warren Haynes Band, and The Kills, in addition to the always-relevant Philadelphia favorites. The lineup will be completed by additional artists, some of the best in this city. Radians Amphitheater at the Memphis Botanic Garden will once again serve as the festival’s starting point.
