In 2024, how much can the Eagles depend on Nakobe Dean?
Nakobe Dean is still highly valued by the Eagles, but how much can they rely on him in 2024 after a season marred by injuries?

Nakobe Dean

In 2024, Nakobe Dean will begin his third season in the NFL, but we haven’t seen much of him yet.

The 23-year-old Dean hardly played defense in his rookie season before a number of foot injuries severely limited his first year as a starter in the previous campaign.

Not too long ago, when the Eagles selected Dean out of Georgia in the third round (2022) at pick No. 83 overall, he was regarded by many as the draft’s steal. After all, Dean led the Bulldogs’ defense and was a MIKE linebacker on the National Championship team.

But as Dean moves into Year 3, it appears that all of the buzz surrounding him has faded.

Has anyone forgotten about him?

This spring, Dean spoke the words, “I dunno.” “I haven’t been paying any attention to them. If so, then things are as they are. I am aware that my injury has caused me to be out of sight and out of mind. I’m now here.

Dean underwent surgery during the previous season, but he claims that by early February, he was no longer in a walking boot and that he has been working toward a full recovery. Dean stated a month ago that he was approaching full health. That, of course, is the young linebacker’s largest and most crucial step.
