It’s about time for Kaliq Lockett’s official visits. We are getting close to what may turn out to be the last round of the recruitment process for the five-star wide receiver from Sachse, Texas, who has been attracting interest from all over the nation this spring. Although Lockett’s status as a recruiter didn’t really take off until last fall, when he caught 59 receptions for 1,299 yards and 13 touchdowns, he is currently one of the nation’s most sought-after recruits.
According to 247Sports, Lockett, who is 6-foot-2 and 175 pounds, is rated as the No. 2 wide receiver in the country and the No. 3 overall prospect in Texas.
