Date Confirmed for Alabama Basketball Rematch with Creighton
Amidst the college basketball offseason, the initial details of Alabama basketball’s non-conference lineup for the 2024-25 season have emerged. Coleman Coliseum will host the Crimson Tide’s face-off against Creighton on Saturday, December 14, according to a report by college basketball analyst Rocco Miller.

The specific game time remains to be determined.

Last summer, Alabama and Creighton agreed upon a two-year series, alternating home courts with the first match held in Omaha and the second in Tuscaloosa.

In the previous season, Creighton secured a narrow victory in the opening encounter of the series, clinching an 85-82 win on their home turf at the CHI Health Center. Despite a strong performance by Alabama’s guard Mark Sears, who tallied 19 points, the game concluded with a missed buzzer-beater attempt that would have forced overtime.

This upcoming game adds to Alabama’s challenging non-conference schedule, a hallmark of Nate Oats’ tenure in Tuscaloosa. Apart from the Creighton matchup, Alabama has slated games against Arizona in Birmingham, continuing a series that commenced the previous season, and reportedly, a forthcoming matchup against St. John’s.

Additionally, the Crimson Tide is set to participate in the ACC/SEC Challenge in November and is likely to engage in a multi-team event during Thanksgiving week, details of which are yet to be unveiled.

As the offseason progresses, Alabama awaits roster decisions for the 2024-25 season and finalizes preparations for the non-conference slate commencing in November.
