The San Francisco 49ers have been active in bolstering their roster for the upcoming season through the NFL Draft. Their recent additions include a mix of promising talents who they anticipate will make immediate impacts on the field. Here’s a breakdown of their latest draft picks:

In the first round, they selected wide receiver Ricky Pearsall.
In the second round, cornerback Renardo Green joined the team.
Offensive lineman Dominick Puni was picked up in the third round.
Safety Malik Mustapha was added in the fourth round, along with running back Isaac Guerendo and wide receiver Jacob Cowing.
The sixth round saw the acquisition of offensive lineman Jarrett Kingston.
With their final pick at 251st overall, the 49ers chose linebacker Tatum Bethune from Florida State University, aiming to strengthen their linebacker corps.

Bethune, a seasoned five-year senior, is expected to make an impact, particularly on special teams. Despite his smaller stature at 5’11 and 229 pounds, he compensates with agility and coverage skills, making him a valuable asset in various defensive situations. Bethune’s college career, spanning from Central Florida to Florida State, showcases his versatility and playmaking abilities, tallying impressive statistics in tackles, tackles for loss, interceptions, and sacks.

While the draft has concluded, the 49ers continue to fine-tune their roster strategy, actively pursuing top undrafted free agents to further enhance their squad for the upcoming season.
