BYU Basketball is set to take on Providence in the upcoming Big 12-Big East Battle, as reported by Jon Rothstein. The Cougars will travel to Rhode Island to face the Friars in one of the 11 matchups scheduled for this event. Other notable matchups include Baylor against UConn and Kansas against Creighton.

Last season, Providence concluded with a 21-14 record, making a notable appearance in the Big East tournament by defeating Georgetown and Creighton before facing Marquette in the semifinals. Despite their efforts, they were ultimately a 3-seed in the NIT and were defeated by Boston College in the tournament’s first round.
