ESPN reported that Carter is skipping his senior year. Carter is ranked No. 17 out of 100 NBA draft prospects by ESPN. Throughout 33 starts this season, Carter averaged 19.7 points, 8.7 rebounds, 3.6 assists, and 1.8 steals for the Friars, who finished 21-14 (10-10 in the Big East). Boston College defeated Providence in the NIT opening round. In 96 career games (73 starts) at Providence and South Carolina (2021–22), Carter averaged 14.1 points. Carter is the boy.
