Birmingham City suffer huge blow after academy that produced Jude Bellingham loses elite status

UB40 is scheduled to perform at Birmingham City Football Club’s stadium as part of an Easter Monday event that will also mark the official renaming of the ground. Following the team’s match against Preston North End at 3:00 PM BST, UB40 will take the stage at the newly named St Andrew’s @ Knighthead Park.

This event, dubbed the Easter Monday Double Header, will include the unveiling of branding reflecting the stadium’s new name. It also coincides with the start of UB40’s world tour, during which they will showcase new material from their upcoming UB45 album.

Birmingham City CEO Garry Cook expressed excitement about the event, describing it as a celebration of Birmingham that brings together the city’s football team and its beloved band. UB40’s Robin Campbell echoed this sentiment, stating their pride in starting their world tour at the stadium, emphasizing that their music is deeply rooted in Birmingham’s culture and spirit. UB40 is set to perform for an hour starting at approximately 5:45 PM BST.
