New beverage released by dairy firm targeted at “salty” 49ers.
This week, a dairy company from the Midwest has become the enemy of San Francisco 49ers fans.
The 49ers’ fanbase has often been criticized for being bitter, a perception that was reinforced when the team’s social media account posted “against all odds” after the 49ers reached the Super Bowl despite being favored in every game.
Now, a milk company from Missouri is taking a playful jab at the 49ers with a unique product.
Shatto Milk has recently introduced a new drink called Niners Tears, commemorating the Kansas City Chiefs’ recent Super Bowl victory over the San Francisco 49ers.
According to the press release:
Shatto Milk, based in Osborn, Missouri, is launching Niners Tears milk to celebrate the Chiefs’ 25-22 triumph over the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl LVIII. The product will hit stores on Monday and, like actual tears, will have a salty taste.
