‘Really like’ this top QB prospect in the 2024 NFL Draft class is the Las Vegas Raiders.

The Las Vegas Raiders have extensively scouted the top quarterback prospects in the 2024 NFL Draft this offseason. While they won’t secure any of the top-ranked quarterbacks in this year’s draft class, they reportedly have a strong interest in another prospect.

To bolster their quarterback depth, Las Vegas has already signed Gardner Minshew to a two-year contract with $15 million guaranteed. Minshew’s addition provides the Raiders with a dependable backup starter, and they continue to hold high regard for backup quarterback Aidan O’Connell.

However, head coach Antonio Pierce and general manager Tom Telesco are eager to find a long-term solution at quarterback. With top prospects like Caleb Williams, Drake Maye, and Jayden Daniels likely unavailable, Las Vegas may have identified another option that they are very enthusiastic about.

During the latest episode of Yahoo Sports’ Inside Coverage podcast, NFL reporter Charles Robinson mentioned hearing at the combine in Indianapolis that the Raiders “really like” quarterback Michael Penix Jr.
