Gabbie “March-All” showcased her exceptional skills on Saturday in Iowa City. The senior sharpshooter from Cincinnati, known for her recent outstanding shooting, made a significant impact in the NCAA Tournament’s first round at Carver-Hawkeye Arena. Marshall hit three 3-pointers, all in the first half, aiding the Hawkeyes (30-4) in their 91-65 victory over Holy Cross in front of a packed crowd of 14,324.

Marshall’s early success included sinking three of her first four triples, marking a remarkable 53% conversion rate on her last 36 attempts from long range. Her teammate Kate Martin noted that Marshall’s performance, passion, and energetic demeanor inspired the team, stating, “When Gabbie’s on, it really lights a fire under all of us.”

Despite Caitlin Clark’s impressive overall statistics — 3,798 points, 952 rebounds, 1,102 assists, and 203 steals — Marshall’s contributions were not overshadowed.
