Despite his limited playing time in the past, Washington showed improvement during last year’s training camp. Unfortunately, his season was cut short due to a chest injury sustained in Week 2, after appearing in two games and starting one.

With the departure of safety Geno Stone and cornerback Ronald Darby in free agency, and the potential loss of Arthur Maulet, Washington could find himself playing a significant role in various positions within the secondary next season.
