Dallas Mavericks’ standout player, Luka Dončić, displayed a sarcastic reaction to finally receiving a foul call during the game against the Miami Heat. Known for his vocal interactions with referees, Dončić sought recognition for a foul during the third quarter of the Mavericks’ 114–108 victory. Posting up Heat guard Terry Rozier, Dončić leaned into Rozier for contact while shooting, prompting a whistle from the official. In response, Dončić threw his hands in the air and sarcastically exclaimed, “I got a call! Yeah!” This perfectly timed sarcasm was followed by successful free throws.
Despite the focus on foul calls, Dončić had a stellar performance, contributing 35 points, 11 rebounds, and 11 assists. This marked his fifth consecutive game with a triple-double and fourth consecutive triple-double with at least 35 points, setting an NBA record. Dončić is leading the league with an average of 34.6 points, along with 9.8 assists and 9.4 rebounds per game in 55 contests this season.
