The Dallas Cowboys are reportedly linked with cornerback Kenny Moore II, who is set to become a free agent after his four-year, $33 million contract with the Indianapolis Colts. Despite the Cowboys’ impressive 12-5 record last season, their playoff run was cut short by the Green Bay Packers. As free agency approaches, the Cowboys are looking to strengthen their defense, which ranked in the top five.

ESPN’s Aaron Schatz suggests that Kenny Moore would be a suitable addition to the Cowboys, especially with potential free-agent departures like Stephon Gilmore and Jourdan Lewis. Moore, known as one of the league’s top slot corners, excelled in coverage and run defense last season. He ranked 11th in coverage DVOA among corners with over 300 coverage snaps and proved effective in run defense with 43 combined run tackles and assists.

Given Moore’s career year in Indianapolis, the 28-year-old cornerback is seeking a competitive team to win a championship. The Cowboys, in need of defensive upgrades, could benefit from adding Moore to their roster. As both parties weigh their options in the coming weeks, acquiring Moore might be the key for the Cowboys to enhance their chances in the upcoming season.
