Update: Maurice Robinson, who was reported missing on Sunday, has been located unharmed, as confirmed by the Kansas City police. The KCPD had issued a silver alert and appealed to the public for assistance in finding the 72-year-old gentleman who suffers from Alzheimer’s. Robinson had wandered away from his home near Bannister Road and Belmont Avenue at approximately 2:30 p.m. on Sunday. Philip DiMartino, a spokesperson for the KCPD, mentioned uncertainty regarding the direction Robinson took. Robinson, a 72-year-old African American man, departed from his residence on Sunday afternoon. Described as 5’8” tall and weighing 160 lbs., he has black and gray hair, brown eyes, and was last seen wearing a black baseball cap, navy blue jacket, dark jeans, and black shoes. The KCPD urges anyone with information or sightings of Robinson to contact 911 or the department’s Missing Persons Squad at 816-234-5043.
