Sending a Message After Winning Against the Sixers.

After securing a victory against the Cleveland Cavaliers, the Philadelphia 76ers returned to the court for an afternoon game against the Milwaukee Bucks, led by Giannis Antetokounmpo. Notably, this matchup marked Patrick Beverley’s first face-off with the Sixers since his trade to the Bucks in exchange for Cam Payne at the trade deadline. Beverley, expressing eagerness for this encounter, had previously discussed his anticipation on his podcast, particularly looking forward to facing Kyle Lowry, now the Sixers’ backup point guard. In the game, Beverley contributed 17 points, along with three points, two assists, and one steal. The Bucks emerged victorious with a final score of 119-98.

Post-game, Beverley took to social media, continuing his trend of posts about the “Belt 2 A$” tour after wins. While acknowledging the Sixers in his post, he also showed appreciation for Philly. Additionally, a video surfaced on his podcast’s X account, revealing a play where Beverley poked the ball away from Lowry and stood over him as he lay on the court. Lowry, in his second game with the Sixers, played 21 minutes, showcasing versatility with three points, two rebounds, three assists, and two steals. Since joining the Bucks, Beverley has participated in six games, with current averages of 3.7 points, 1.8 rebounds, and 2.5 assists per game.
