In the upcoming years, NRLW might go to Las Vegas with NRL.Jon Gruden resigns as Raiders coach after emails with racist, homophobic language surface - al.com

As four NRL squads prepare to make a splash in the United States at Las Vegas’ Allegiant Stadium next weekend, there’s potential for the NRLW to follow suit.

Although ARLC Chairman Peter V’landys hasn’t officially proposed the idea to the NRL administration yet, he envisions great enthusiasm among American fans for the spectacle of formidable women competing on the rugby league field.

V’landys acknowledges Sydney Roosters Chairman Nick Politis as the mastermind behind the concept and wholeheartedly supports it.

“My next goal is to promote the women’s game because it’s distinctive,” V’landys shared with The Sydney Morning Herald.

“Witnessing women play rugby league would elevate our sport, especially given their exceptional skill level.

“I’m amazed by the women’s abilities and how rapidly they’ve honed their skills.

“In my opinion, they’re just as skilled as the men.

“I want to clarify that this idea isn’t mine; all credit goes to Nick Politis.”
