In the spring training opener against the Chicago White Sox on Saturday afternoon, the Seattle Mariners are fielding a lineup that features several familiar faces, including newcomers Jorge Polanco and Mitch Garver.

The Mariners are showcasing five regular players in this opening game, offering fans an exciting glimpse of the team’s potential. J.P. Crawford, who played a crucial role in driving the Mariners’ offense in 2023, is leading off, bringing his dynamic energy to the lineup. Polanco will take his position at second base, while Garver will get an early opportunity as the designated hitter. Garver, who signed a two-year deal during the offseason, is expected to add power and strength to the batting order.
