In the latest releases of the Associated Press and USA Today/Coaches polls on Monday, the Alabama men’s basketball team has moved up one spot in both rankings.
Following a week where they went 1-1, with a 99-81 loss to Auburn on Wednesday and a 109-92 victory over LSU on Saturday, the Crimson Tide now hold the 15th position in both polls.
The Southeastern Conference (SEC) is well-represented in the AP poll, with five teams securing rankings. Alongside Alabama at No. 15, Tennessee holds the 8th spot, South Carolina is ranked 11th, Auburn sits at No. 13, and Kentucky is positioned at No. 22.
Alabama currently boasts a 17-7 overall record, maintaining a 9-2 record in SEC play. They share the top spot in the league standings with South Carolina, both having a 9-2 conference record. This places them one game ahead of Auburn (8-3) and 1.5 games ahead of Tennessee (7-3).
