Green Bay Packers Betting Lines: Preview, Odds, Spreads, Win Total, and More

Jordan Love and Micah Parsons reunited in Las Vegas during Super Bowl weekend, marking their first encounter since their playoff matchup. In the Wild Card weekend, the Green Bay Packers faced off against the Dallas Cowboys at AT&T Stadium, securing a 48-32 victory that eliminated Dallas from the playoffs. Running back Aaron Jones played a pivotal role in the win, delivering an exceptional performance with 21 carries for 118 yards and three touchdowns in his home state of Texas. However, Jones made contributions that may have gone unnoticed during the live broadcast.

Love joined Parsons on his podcast, “The Edge,” and revealed that Jones showcased improvisational skills in pass-blocking against the Penn State standout. According to Love, Jones would sense when one of the Packers’ offensive linemen was beaten, and he would instinctively chip Parsons to provide additional protection.

Parsons expressed his amazement, stating, “It was unbelievable. Like on most of those inside rushes, I was like no way he’s supposed to do this.”

Love confirmed, “No, he was not, and that’s just the player he is, where he’s at in the league, man. To know how good of a rusher you are and just be able to pick you up and help. Give me some time back there because there were a couple of them if he wouldn’t have done that. I don’t know.”

In the victory over Dallas, the Packers successfully prevented any sacks and only allowed three QB hits. They effectively contained Parsons, limiting him to just two tackles and one QB hit. Love capitalized on the protection, throwing for 272 yards with three passing touchdowns and boasting a QB rating of 157.2.

Jones emerged as the crucial X-factor in Green Bay’s triumph, proving to be an invaluable asset for the team.
