Even in the supposedly “quiet” period of the NBA offseason, the league remains active, catering to the year-round passion of basketball enthusiasts worldwide. The NBA officially unveiled its 2023-24 season schedule on Thursday. Despite some leaked details from the previous week, it was confirmed that the Dallas Mavericks would kick off the season on the road against Victor Wembanyama and the San Antonio Spurs. Additionally, fans were aware that Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving would be featured in a Christmas Day clash against Kevin Durant, Devin Booker, and the Phoenix Suns.

The complete Mavericks schedule encompasses four In-Season Tournament games against the Denver Nuggets, Los Angeles Clippers, New Orleans Pelicans, and Houston Rockets in November. The team is slated for 28 nationally televised games, with nine on ESPN, eight on TNT, nine on NBA TV, and two on ABC. Notably, the opening game against the Spurs and the Christmas Day matchup against the Suns will both be broadcast on ESPN.

As training camp, set to commence in late September, approaches, details such as starting lineups and overall rotations are yet to be finalized. The preseason period will provide an initial glimpse into the performances of new Mavericks additions like Grant Williams, Seth Curry, Dereck Lively II, OMax Prosper (who recently had an exclusive interview with DallasBasketball.com), Dante Exum, Richaun Holmes, and Derrick Jones Jr.
