Warriors: Wild Stephen Curry’s three-point stat will leave Luka Doncic desperately shakes his head.
Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors is widely regarded as the greatest shooter in NBA history.
Curry is still an extremely dangerous shooter at the age of 35, and he shows no signs of slowing down in that regard. In fact, he leads the league in 3-pointers made thus far in the 2023-24 NBA regular season. He extended his lead to 119-107 over Joel Embiid and the Philadelphia 76ers on Tuesday night, shooting the lights out yet again at home. Curry now has 195 three-pointers for the season. He is in a league of his own when it comes to three-pointers, as the next man with the most is Dallas Mavericks star Luka Doncic, who has only 155.
Curry made eight three-pointers out of 13 attempts against the 76ers. He ended with a game-high 37 points, eight rebounds, and seven assists in 35 minutes. Overall, he went 12-for-17 from the field and hit all five free throws. It was simply another game for Curry, who has made Warriors and NBA fans accustomed to such scoring displays.
Curry turns 36 in March, but Father Time isn’t slowing down the two-time league MVP.
Curry and the Warriors, who raised their record to 20-24, can build on their victory over the 76ers as they prepare to begin a five-game road trip on Friday against the Memphis Grizzlies.
