Lifetime Lions fan traveled to San Francisco for the NFC Championship game.
Lansing, Michigan (WILX) – A lifelong Lions fan is traveling across the country to watch her team face the San Francisco 49ers.
The Detroit Lions are going to the NFC Championship for only the second time in franchise history.
“I’m going to lose my voice again, just as I did the previous two games. Bria Burrell stated, “I expect nothing less, and I’m confident the rest of the fans will do the same.”
Burrell described Lions fans as a family that had supported the team through both successes and losses.
“The stadium is constantly filled. “The energy is so vibrant, I love it,” Burrell stated.
She’s delighted to bring that excitement down to San Francisco, accompanied by her mother and son. Burrell is a season ticket holder for the Lions and has only missed one game this season. She knew she had to be in San Francisco for the big game, even if the tickets were expensive, at $1,000 each, not including airfare or lodging, but she felt going to the game was worth it.
“I just want to be present in that moment. I want to be part of the crowd. “I want to be able to cheer our boys on,” Burrell stated.
Hopefully, they will make it all the way to the Super Bowl and bring a win back to Detroit.
