Devin Booker and Bradley Beal’s Injury Updates for Suns versus.
The Phoenix Suns expect to have these two stars available against the Golden State Warriors.
Speaking with media on Monday, Phoenix Suns head coach Frank Vogel stated that both Devin Booker (toe) and Bradley Beal (back) practiced, and the team hopes both will be ready for opening night against the Golden State Warriors. While neither Booker nor Beal were expected to be out for an extended period of time due to their ailments, it’s heartening to hear they practiced on Monday in preparation for their opener against the Warriors.
Opening night is usually exciting, but the Suns vs. Warriors clash is arguably more fascinating than most season openers. There will be a tale to follow as Kevin Durant plays in front of the Warriors fans for the first time since departing Golden State in 2019. There is also the Klay Thompson vs. Devin Booker showdown, which has been heated in previous years – although both players appear to have put that behind them after Thompson’s recent compliments for Booker during an episode of Paul George’s Podcast P podcast.
The Warriors will be without Draymond Green, which means Chris Paul will likely continue to start alongside Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, Andrew Wiggins, and Kevon Looney.
Once Green returns, Golden State will most likely choose between Looney and Paul for the final starting spot.
Opening night is typically entertaining, but Suns against. Warriors should be even more thrilling than normal.
