Clark may need to get used to the ‘old man’ label for hogs.
Fayetteville, Arkansas — Arkansas defensive back Hudson Clark has probably been on school for longer than many instructors. There are certainly a lot of instructors. He does offer some much-needed senior leadership potential if he wants to return the Razorbacks to winning ways.
He, like Grant Morgan and others on a 9-4 club in 2021, has witnessed the difference between winning and losing teams in this area. If he doesn’t realize what’s required of a leader to win… and lose
He’s one of numerous players returning for the bonus year of eligibility from the pandemic, which resulted in a 3-7 season in 2020. As awful as 2023’s dysfunctional year was for everyone, Clark most likely felt it the most intensely. At least you’d hope so.

It lasted through an Outback Bowl victory over Penn State on New Year’s Day to begin 2021.
Now it’s up to Clark to help everyone else get on the same page. Fans want him to bring the squad back to the 2021 mindset, when no one was willing to accept defeat. It will not be easy. As difficult as that schedule was, this one could be much more daunting. Nobody said it would be simple, did they?
