Chelsea reportedly made a €85 million offer this month to sign a striker who has already scored 20 goals in 24 games for his team this season.

As you are aware, The Blues have been looking for a new striker this month and have been linked with a number of names.

According to Record in Portugal, one of the names is Sporting’s Viktor Gyokeres, for whom they have made an offer this week.

According to their front page headline, the club has rejected this offer and allegedly wants the €100 million release clause in full. It also claims that Chelsea may make a second offer before the end of the transfer window.

Gyokeres earlier stated that he hopes to finish the season with the team, but that he will leave it up to the club to decide.
